Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, at Puy-deDomme, France on the 9th of August 1976. She is the oldest child of 4 children. Her parents encouraged her parents, dentist and a teacher and both of them were teachers. They encouraged her to pursue her passion for the theatre. It was in stark contrast her earlier ambition to be a primatologist due to the fact that she adored monkeys. Early success and a rapid increase in recognition marked her as a young actor. Following her graduation and acting, she appeared on the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers which was backed by Canal+. She won the award for the best young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors in the year 2000. She then began a acting career. Although she studied at in the Institut Catholique de Paris and attended church in her youth Tautou has distanced herself from this upbringing, stating that she's not Catholic. Alongside her acting profession, she has is also pursuing modeling. She modelled in the commercials for L'Oreal Mont Blanc, Chanel and was dubbed "The Chanel Muse". Recently, at Arles Arts Festival, Arles Arts Festival, she showed a collection of photographs under the name Superficial. The majority of her photography is focused on the spotlight and celebrities and turns the camera on those who scrutinized her following her sudden rise in fame and fortune with Amelie as well as several self-portraits. Audrey Tautou's debut role, as Amelie Poulain's leading actress in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie poulain, earned her international stardom. Amelie was recognized internationally for its box office success. It also received praise at awards ceremonies across the globe. Amelie is the most successful film that is French-speak in the US. The success of this movie led Tautou to a variety of roles, from British dramas as Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
